All Play Live is a fun and interactive Game Show that keeps to the highest standards of fun (and social distancing) while allowing everyone to play.

Designed from the ground up to meet campus/national guidelines for social safety during the pandemic, this show has gone from online to “in-person” as a super fun and involved event.

One thing we discovered during the pandemic is that everyone has fun buzzing in and answering trivia questions. Another thing we discovered is that we’ve all missed being around other people! This fun show/activity gives the best of both worlds!

It’s the fun of Fast Action Trivia, with the addition that everyone can play!

We’ve been planning a “whole audience plays” style game for quite a while. So this time of social distancing is the perfect time to bring that long-planned show to the market to provide you with a socially responsible program that checks all the boxes of safety, entertainment, and quality programming.

Most of all, it’s really fun and engaging!

About the gameplay

  • Each show lasts for about 60-75 minutes
  • Every guest (up to 50 max) gets a sanitized Audience Response Module that allows them to buzz in and cast their correct answer from their seats
  • No cell phone or wifi is needed for the show, it is 100% self-contained! (Cell phone option available for larger groups).
  • Our hosts add humor and fun to every question and offer additional info about many of them
  • 5 Rounds are played and winners are awarded prizes each round so there are lots of chances to win!
  • Rounds include a wide variety of general trivia. Including just about every topic from Atari to Zodiac and everything in between
  • Gameplay includes video, music, sound effects, and great production value
  • For larger groups (over 50) we also have the option of players playing via their phone, tablet, or computer!
  • This show is a hybrid of pub-style trivia and a full-blown game show. It’s a blend of activity and performance.

How does the ALL PLAY LIVE game show work?

When guests arrive they will pick up a sanitized Audience Response System device (ARS) and take a seat. Or if using the Phone version of the show – they’ll charge their phones at one of our charging stations and use the on-screen code to get logged in.

A variety of questions and challenges will be asked from the stage, with a corresponding video image of the question and four choices to answer. Contestants choose the answer they think is correct and our computers tabulate the results and display them on the screen. We keep the game moving fast and fun.

We’ll play 5 or more rounds of questions and winners will be awarded prizes for each round, giving LOTS of chances to win!

Best of all, this show is available nationwide, requires only a host, and a minimal amount of technical needs (trust us – you’ve got it all on-campus).

The show is appropriate for coffeehouse shows, ballrooms, theaters, cafeterias or any place that your students gather!

Is a Prize Package Included & How Much
College events include a $300 total prize package. For this show those prizes come in the form of Amazon Gift Codes that are sent out within 24 hours of the event.

If preferred we can make other arrangements for prizes such as PayPal, Venmo or even having the client provide and distribute the prizes themselves. We’ll subtract $250 from the total price of the show in these instances. $50 remains as our system of paying with gift codes is now automated and paying in any other way takes extra time to get done.

What are the technical needs of ALL PLAY LIVE Game Show?
We’ll need a sound system and a video projector and screen for Bronze Level shows and just a space with electricity available for times when we’ll provide sound/video (Gold Level)
How many people can play ALL PLAY LIVE Game Show?
Our current system allows up to 50 people to play at the same time using our Audience Response System.

Our system that uses students own cell phone, tablet or computer can handle up to 2000 players. A cell signal and or wifi is required for these.

How long is a show?
Left to it’s own devices our shows last between 60-75 minutes with an average of 70 minutes.

If you need to hit a specific time frame of less than that – let us know and we can make that happen.

Can we customize the game play?
CUSTOMIZATION OF GAME PLAY:

Yes, though an additional fee may be incurred.

A lot of work, thought and trial and error went into our current standard game play. When one aspect changes, it potentially changes 10 other aspects. So while we can customize the show flow to a certain extent, it does take a bit more effort. Many ways (number of teams etc) we have already worked out. Let us know what you have in mind, and what your end goal is and we’ll work something out for you.

There may be a substantial additional fee if we’re changing the flow of the game. Custom questions are no additional cost.

Can we have our own questions in the ALL PLAY LIVE show?
Yes, of course, though because of the amount of programming and testing that goes into each show, there is an additional charge to do this for the ARS system. There is no charge for the phone/computer based system (wifi)

We recommend no more than 2 rounds of custom questions, sandwiched between 3 rounds of general trivia. This keeps the show flowing.

State Fees/Taxes/Permits
Some states such as California, New Jersey, Minnesota, North Carolina and Missouri (just a few that we know of) have “Out of State Entertainer” taxes or state income taxes that we don’t have here in our home state of Texas.

In order to avoid raising our prices by up to 5% for everyone, our contracts will always contain this wording:

SPECIAL NOTE: The agreed upon fee is the amount that should be paid to Game Shows To Go AFTER ANY FEES, STATE TAXES (income, performer or otherwise), Special Licensing Fees required by your state or other municipality or organization. There is no way for us to keep up with all 50 states and thousands of states and cities. The amount of the check written to Game Shows to go, after deductions should be (amount quoted for show). If the gross needs to be adjusted please do so to ensure the proper payment amount. Thanks for your understanding.

This seems to be the best way to keep our prices low and only pass along these costs to the states/people who charge them. Our fees usually include prizes promotional materials and many other expenses and that are not income.

Ways we can work around this are:

  • Add the amount expected to be deducted for these fees/taxes to the amount your check is requested for.
  • Subtract the amount of fees/taxes from the prize money we give at the show (if we are providing prizes).
  • Add a clause that says expenses of “up to <the amount of taxes/fees> will be billed after the show” and we’ll bill you for that exact amount.
Are discounts available?
Yes. Discounts are available if you schedule more than one show per requested contract.

Example: You request a contract for June 1st and 7th. You get a discount.

If you schedule a second show after the first show is scheduled, the discount wouldn’t apply. Discounts are given to help us reduce paperwork.

Example: You request a contract for June 1st. After the show it’s a hit, so you request a contract for a second show on June 7th. No discount is given, as we have to do a whole new set of processing.

What if we have to cancel because campus closes?
We get it. We experienced that – just like every artist in Spring 2020.

If campus closes because of something beyond your control there is no penalty and we can assist you in switching to a virtual program.
