Product Marketing & Trade Shows are our #1 sweet spot!

When I (CJ Johnson) am asked what it is that I do best, my response is “game shows for products or trade shows”. It happens to be what I love the most, customizing a show, presenting to people who mostly have no interest in stopping (it reminds me of street performing), and being a blatant salesperson/spokesman for the company that I’m there to represent. Having been an entertainer for over 30 years, and being raised by a salesperson where I sat in the back of the room as a teen listening to sales meetings by speakers who went on to be legends like Zig Ziglar and Brian Tracy, I have a unique mix of skills that lends itself well to sales and brand awareness. I also know there’s a difference – so I’ll spend time with you going over your goals for your event to make sure that we’re doing everything right!

There are two different schools of thought for trade show performances. 1. Do a show every 20-60 minutes and get larger crowds, or 2. Have shows ongoing with smaller groups, but continuously engaging traffic at the booth. Both have their advantages, but my philosophy is to have ongoing shows because we never know when the most important prospect in the room is going to walk by – and we don’t want to miss them. I will work with you on the goals of your exhibit and develop a strategy just for you.

I am often confused with being a full-time member of a company’s team because I end up learning so much about a product and a company while preparing the trivia questions and researching for the event. But I have the benefit of being an outsider who is paid to be brazen about the promotion of a product without there being any high-pressure selling – just fun-filled informing.

We often get photos in the following years program because we create great photo opportunities of people having fun. This is free press coverage for you!

Trade Show Investment

You invest a lot of time and money on a booth, booth design, travel, giveaways, and staff when going to a trade show. The important question to ask is “Why are people going to stop and spend time with you?” “How are they going to learn what your core offerings are?” Game Shows To Go will stop trade show goers at your booth, inform them, entertain them, and help you capture their information in a fun way that makes them talk about you and take pictures to share. In fact, we often end up in the following years’ programs because we are able to provide something that is visually interesting.

I will help you stop traffic, qualify leads, pick up on buying signals, and personally hand off anyone who exhibits buying signals or who has questions to one of your sales team. I will develop trivia questions that support your product and company and make everyone leave your booth feeling like they are old friends who know about your business. I will assist you with booth design and with Game Show-specific items such as buzzers, scoring systems, sound effects etc. for your Trade Show booth. I will dress in snazzy jackets and draw attention to your booth in any way that I possibly can in a fun and positive manner. I will be a beacon of energy and stamina that will amaze everyone in the area. I will work with the booths around you to make sure they’re comfortable with the crowds we’ll draw and make sure that there are no complaints about noise or traffic by being a good neighbor. I will work with your team to get as many leads as possible and I will help train them to interact. I will make your next trade show a dream.

As for show format – we typically use Fast Action Trivia or a similar “buzz in and answer” format – because people LOVE to hit buzzers and say something into a microphone. In fact, we’ll have people come to a booth just to do that!
